A sales letter is basically a 24/7 sales person who does the job for you on autopilot. The longer it is, it’s likely that your product is more competitive, more comprehensive, and people have enough information to make a decision to buy. It mimics the regular sales person, whom I doubt will be able to sell you a product like a book within just 2-3 minutes talking to you about it. The length of the sales letter is always related to the value of the product or service you are selling.
