What Is The Procedure For Accepting Payments Online?

#1 – Paypal, Clickbank, 2Checkout are principle
methods of collecting payment.

#2 – you can have your own merchant account, that costs up to $1000 to set up
plus transaction costs of up to 5.5% per transaction.

Either way, you need a means to collect online payment. If you are overseas,
check that your merchant account can accept overseas credit card payments. If
not, you can use 3rd party processors like Paypal (like online banking, but
there are wire transfer costs – check paypal.com), 2Checkout direct wire
transfer (widely accepted, but only one of your domains per account, no
affiliate management capabilities) or Clickbank check payment (not accepted in
some countries, you need to have a digital product to sell first, allows for
affiliate selling).

In your country, you can always approach a bank, but they will want to know what
your current business level is. They are not interested in small transactions.
