Updated Question For Affiliate Marketing

Here’s a question from someone who attended the Gold Club Open HouseÂÂ recently. The upcoming one is Tomorrow, Thursday at 7.30pm.

Hi Stuart,

Your conference yesterday is great. I have learnt much more in those 2hrs than I ever had in other seminars. Thanks for providing such great service! I look forward to having more of these kinds of conference in the future.

Here’s a question regarding yesterday conference.

I remembered in the conference you mentioned about having an opt-in page before directing prospects to the affilate link. I noticed that in these affilate links there are already an optin page set up by product creator. In fact, the prospects has to do double optin before getting their products if I put in my optin page. As an affilate, how could I deal with it?

This is a typical question for an ‘astute’ marketer. First thing is look out for pages that DO NOT have opt-in pages. It’s common knowledge that if you have opt-in pages on the sales page, it might actually drive people away from your sale. However, as an affiliate, this is an advantage to you.

Second, I’d usually offer a free incentive or bonus to get them to opt-in. Even if they didn’t stay on my page, they would have already given me their email address. Then I can follow up via email.

So my answer is – don’t worry if your visitor has to do more work. As long as there is adequate benefit, they will act upon it.
