SEO Methods – “V7ndotcom Elursrebmem” Interesting Development

If you recently went into Google, you’ll find something interesting. Since the last time I posted, while I had 6 links on page one on Google, someone obviously read the post (I think I know who… heheh) and started to do some SEO to knock down my pages.

Since “Internet Marketing Singapore” as a term is not really competitive, it’s great that someone wants to challenge this position. It’s going to grow the search engine saturation for this term.

Now, the thing is for me to answer this challenge by doing some optimization work myself. There’s only one guy I know who will start posting information on a blog that has Russian in it…

So, if you visit www.web-marketing.pl, you’ll realize that it’s on position #3, the spot I used to hold. You’ll also notice that there is nothing there that is related to Internet Marketing Singapore. So the only thing you will notice is that it has a wierd term “V7ndotcom Elursrebmem”. This is actually part of an SEO game that is being played by SEO experts all over the world – to see who can get ranked #1 in the world for this ‘nonsense term’.

Probably, someone is trying to send a message to me that I’m not all that great an SEO expert. No problem, I never claimed to be the best in the world anyway.

However, this is an important lesson to learn. Some people will ask: so why is a completely irrelevant term ranked #3 in one of the niches that I have chosen? Well… introducing the concept of anchor text. It is by far, one of the most important concepts in the world about search engine optimization. Even the term V7ndotcom Elursrebmem is done using anchor text, if you searched on the web. So, if thousands of links are created to point to a website, then the search engines will think that it is important.

For instance, when I create anchor text like this “V7ndotcom Elursrebmem” chances are, my site Internet Marketing Singapore will start appearing on the search engines if people search for “V7ndotcom Elursrebmem“. Unfortunately, because many of the world’s top SEO experts are in this contest, I doubt I will appear on page one. But it does help me to teach people a point about SEO. Reciprocal links are not that important anymore.

I’ll test this out to see what will turn up, and see if I can use a strategy so that the guy optimizing for “Internet Marketing Singapore” at his website will be ‘knocked down’ to lower and less relevant positions. Here’s the trick – many people are unable to build sites that are relevant for the purposes of creating anchor text back to their own sites fast enough. Most SEO experts will run optimization processes in an automated fashion. It’s really difficult for someone like me who is not a SEO expert to compete. However, it’s going to be a good fight….
