Rambling About 11 Internet Marketing Solutions

I just got out of one of my preview seminars in KL. It was a mad rush and I headed out to grab a cab to find my way to the airport, but unfortunately, the traffic would have killed me.

So I’m here in 1Utama Coffee Bean waiting to get my battery recharged before I head off to KLIA. The interesting thing about building a blog on internet marketing is that I can talk about literally anything I want.

I want to talk about 11 Internet Marketing Solutions. Why? Because the number came up, and too many people focus on problems already. Hope this will help:

1. Get a coach.

I’ve been lucky to have the privilege to mastermind with some of the brightest minds in internet marketing. I not only have endless supplies of coaches, I also have a local inner circle. Where’s yours?

2. Research well.

Don’t just hang around Inventory or Google alone. Research sometimes has to come from people within an inner circle network.

3. Use different ways to make money from the same source.

In a recent meeting with Ben and Frank (hmm… Ben Franklin…) we realized our business models are very different. While I suppose we are all still internet marketers, there’s no telling how money can be moved in different ways but still be paid the same way.

4. Keep Doing.

Why do I still maintain this blog? Because I want to keep at it. I met up with Doris Chua, a blogger and a friend. She’s got a huge interest in blogging and learnt some stuff I wasn’t familiar with. I stopped for a while, but suddenly realized that there were things I had left out! Keep doing – then you’ll be kep informed.

5. Use the indirect method.

In the past, it was easy to use an direct method to sell affiliate products. Today, you need to be smart. You need to package, you need to offer an advantage to people who are buying from you. Direct methods don’t really work anymore.

6. Pursue your passion.

Can you imagine doing something you dislike? ÂÂ

7. Lots of Coffee.

I’ve found one of my biggest mastermind group members is coffee. Simple, but effective.

8. Make friends online.

If you’ve missed out, you really ought to start doing something online with the number of friends you have. Set up a MySpace account or a Friendster account and you’ll know what I mean.

9. Hang around the talent you want to use.

If someone thinks in a different way than you, or if someone has a skill you find employable, you really should get close to them. Maybe they can do a better job and you can barter off doing things in exchange.

10. Groom other people.

If you want to develop your capabilities, you have to learn to become a coach yourself. Of course not everyone can do it. You have to get proper training in order to be a coach, but always see the win-win in sharing ideas with other people.

11. Sell to US and UK.

Over here, you are making in S$. A US$ check makes a 60% difference to your income.
