Question About Pay Per Click
A subscriber asked this question:
i have attend one of your seminar last Friday, Can you explain a bit more on pay per click? you got pay by numbers of click you have to click personally or do i have to setup a website’s and someone else click on the link of your website to your sponsors, you will get paid? you also mention EyeBall? care to share some? thanks…ÂÂ
Just clarify there are two parts to this and you’ve mixed up Adwords and Adsense.
Well basically, Google Adwords is a pay-per-click advertising program. You pay Google for every visitor who clicks on your links. This will appear on the search engine results pages (go to Google.com and type in a search phrase… you will find sponsored links on the right hand side). These are what advertisers pay to get listed, but they don’t pay a lump sum like in conventional advertising – they pay based on a click by an interested visitor.
Conversely, Google Adsense is when you already have a website, and you opt to join Google’s advertising program. With good content, you can attract people to your website. By displaying Google’s Ads on your site, you will attract visitors to click on a contextual advert (automatically displayed when you paste a code in your website). When people click, remember that the Advertisers will have to pay. But because the ad is displayed on your site, you referred them to Google. Hence, you will earn a commission.
Hope this answers your question…
