Poor Man’s Traffic #4

Are you struggling for more sources of traffic? Well, there are people all around you, all you need to do is ask. That’s my basic premise. However, if you are really dead broke, here’s what I’d recommend you to do.

Borrow someone’s web cam. Record a message about something amazing about you or something you have seen. To search for a hot topic, simply use the tool at http://inventory.overture.com. You can also check out the categories on Youtube and see which are the most popular ones. It will probably give you an idea about the kind of videos you can make!

Post this video on YouTube.com.

Make sure you register for your own blog account. For instance, www.Blogger.com gets you one of the easiest, cheapest and fastest ways to build a blog.

Post some content there and get people interested to be involved in you and what you are about. Place relevant affiliate links on your blog. Remember to ask people who visit your blog to refer the video to other people they know.

Keep generating traffic by doing more and more videos.

  1. hi stuart,
can you cite one or two actual examples of this?
    tks.

  2. Should be quite straight forward, actually. Have you gone to Youtube to check the video categories?
