This is NOT what you think.

Posted in Internet Marketing, Underground UKThis is Ed Dale. Yes, he made US$5m selling 32 websites. How he did it? I can’t tell because I’m on a non-disclosure agreement. LOL.

Posted in Internet Marketing, Underground UKHere are a couple of friends whom I shall remember fondly. Rob Benwell – Agent Blogging Young Gun, one of the main speakers and someone whom I’ll remember as having no vested interest in doing back end sales (he already makes a decent 5-figure income every month, sometimes hitting $93k in one month with Adsense)… although I really can’t understand his Irish accent 60% of the time (sorry, Rob… hah). He’s hilarious.
Then, there’s ex-cop and internet marketing future superstar Kevin, whom I hung out with most of the time and he’s a really great guy. I think he would do very well teaching his judo classes but I think his hand-made wardrobes and stuff will do very well too…
Posted in Internet Marketing, Underground UKPhil Gosling is a very special speaker on and off stage. I didn’t get a chance to write in detail about him but he has a pretty big set of experiences having had over 10 years of experience on the internet.
Even after the event, I’m overwhelmed by his charisma and pure humor. Very emphatic and very deserving to be the UK Underground Champion.
I had the chance to speak to Phil (he sat with me in a number of sessions and our final day dinner together) and got a sense of his belief pattern. A highly modest person, Phil is also a very direct person.
Posted in Internet Marketing, Underground UKI had a quick word with one of the copywriting legends outside of the seminar context – my question was “You had so little, now you have so much. With people who are in the position you were in when you began, how do they succeed?”
Heh – two gleaming gems.
#1 – Enrich yourself. Keep learning, reading, developing yourself and stretching yourself. With well over $4 billion worth of sales he’s been responsible for, I think this must have been and understatement. Even he is here learning (I see him at the back or the room taking notes all the time).
Posted in Internet Marketing, Underground UKseems like for most people, the level of understanding in Internet marketing is still fairly shallow. The fact is a lot of people aren’t getting the hang of things because they need some time to mature. However not everyone was wet behind the ears.
For instance I met Liz Sherwood. she has a membership site that makes over 60,000 U.S. dollars a month. And she’s only in the first year of Internet marketing! I wish I had more time to speak with a to find out what her AdGoldRush system was.
Posted in Internet Marketing, Underground UKI knew I was in trouble. From the moment I saw him, I knew that he would ask me why I was not using getresponse.com. so the moment I saw him and started to chat with him I really, really did my best to steer the conversation away from autoresponders and email marketing. However, the inevitable happened… ‘What email marketing service are you using?” came the question, and I stuttered a little…
Simon Grabowski is an interesting conversationalist, and a highly intelligent gentlemen, and, as one might expect, an extremely wealthy individual. But that’s not so say that he’s in any way a flamboyant person. He’s probably one of the nicest people I’ve met so far!
Posted in Internet Marketing, Underground UKI recently purchased the Samson condenser microphone and it seems to work well with this. Now that I’m speaking my blog, it helps to generate more content more easily.
As for my verdict for the underground events today, I gotta mean a few interesting people. I met up with Martin Avis, who happens to be the author of the definitive guide to private label rights .ÂÂ
Posted in Internet Marketing, Underground UKI was sitting next to a gentleman called Bob Bruss. I didn’t know how famous he was online until I saw this:
As a real estate reporter, he’s definitely in a great niche. I suspect that if you were to look at the way he plans his site, it will look vaguely familiar… not only is he a very nice man, he also a very experienced writer. This is a great example of how you can find a niche that you love and make money from it. Today, he has customer service problems because “there’s too much business”. WOAH!
Posted in Internet Marketing, Underground UKHey guys, I made contact with Jeff Walker and Yanik Silver in the hallway just about an hour or so ago. The guys looked like they had been battered over the head with an airline food tray for a full day… lol. Anyway, I’ll be checking have checked Yanik’s session out. Awesome as usual, many good, useful reminders, and a couple of ideas sparked off when he spoke.
So far, today’s session (like a primer) has been rather basic (as I expected), and my original goal of seeking out potential speakers for Asia has been slow at best. However, I think the whole approach is fun, and most definitely an interesting one so far.
