Affiliate Marketer’s Daily Routines Part #5

I wrote about routines in my previous post.

Today’s idea is about seeking out incoming links for the purposes of SEO. I think many people who are doing affiliate marketing will miss this out solely because the SEO approach doesn’t always appeal to them, and therefore are happier doing PPC advertising.

While I don’t deny that SEO is tedious and often boring, it doesn’t always have to be that way. There are examples of how SEO can be easy, and link building leveraged.

One way is to hire someone full time to do your SEO. This will include link building, article submissions, link exchange programs and the like.

Looks like a number of people have some seriously huge links now! There’s a guy who built over 22,000 backlinks to his site within three weeks! That’s a tall order. ambatchdotcom seocontest makes it fun to play, but I don’t think I’ll have the time. I’ll cruise through to see how everything is being done, and participate if and when I have time.

At the moment, the contest has elicited quite a nice following, with many people starting out. I was actually planning an SEO education MP3. So far, it seems like I might be able to pull it off only next week when I meet Kelvin in Hong Kong. Well… have fun, you guys.

Google Adwords – Marketer Mass Suicide Looming

Lol…

John Reese sent me an email broadcast regarding new phenomena on the internet. Apparently, Google is switching their goal posts, and will lead to Internet Marketer Mass Hysteria.

Basically what he mentioned is that Google may either be clamping down on click fraud and booting people out of their Adwords system (or forcing them to – that’s why some of you experienced SUPER high cost per click), OR they are planning to launch a Cost-Per-Action model, which is to say that you will now pay for Opt-Ins.

I know some of you probably spotted this blog that you could dump some optimized content in. You are welcome to drop in any comments, however, I would appreciate it that you add some content in other than just optimized words. It would also be nice that you introduce yourself to this blog. HAH! Ryan got KILLED — TOTALLY OBLITERATED in the ambatchdotcom seocontest. Lol… but he’s still on Page 1! Let’s see what happens in the next few days.

So you see, most people ARE good at SEO. How good depends on how powerfully they structure their sites. I don’t have many resources, so I’m actually just playing for the fun of it (actually I was playing to get Ryan booted out… ahhaha)

I wonder if anyone has started to participate in this. So far, Ryan seems to have had all the fun with his listing on Yahoo – he’s number 4! Google, though, has not populated any pages. Perhaps I’ll have to mention more of this during the SEO teleseminar I’m having.

Participate in an SEO competition!

You can actually make over US$4000 from this competition, if you have been learning about SEO already. Those who are interested to take part, just set up your sites and optimize them for the keyword you see on the site (you have to go there and read for yourself).

Holy Crikes! We’re #1!

I was Googling around and didn’t realize this until I actually noticed Ryan mentioning that his Page Rank had gone up to 5 on his blog.

So I knew there must have been some page rank update somewhere. I started looking, then decided to just check my site rankings for the heck of it.

Then voila! Under the search term “Internet Marketing Singapore”, the site is ranked #1!

So it proves one thing – it’s not difficult to be a search engine expert if you know the steps to getting it done! Heh… I think I’ll most likely be running a teleseminar to talk about this… very soon!

Subscriber’s Netowrking night

I’m going to run the next Subscriber’s Networking Session on 24th July.

There’ sa special bonus for you, but I won’t be opening the registrations yet. First, I got all these darned schools to train, so the form won’t be ready (yeah, yeah – I’m supposed to outsource).
