Ok – it’s finally arriving.

The Internet Marketing Jumpstart workshop will be happening 1st and 2nd July (don’t worry – weekend). I’ll have the details up on www.internetmarketingsingapore.com/courses/

in a day or two. Just keep your eyes peeled. This is literally hands-on, and is targeted to jumpstart your expertise. I’m going to launch this in phases, so those who turned up for the last subscriber’s meeting will get to know about this FIRST. Seats are definitely limited, because I can’t have that many tables in my training room for a hands-on workshop. I think the maximum we can hold is 70-80 people.

Here’s what I’ll be covering:-
1. An overview of the 17 (and growing) money-making systems for beginners and intermediate marketers
2. Generating Traffic with paid and free methods
3. Product creation methods and strategies
4. Building Your Opt-In List
5. Writing emails to your opt-in list for sales
6. Affiliate marketing systems
7. Web building hands-on
8. Researching your product demand and supply

This workshop requires your attendance with a LAPTOP. Registrations will begin soon, so don’t call my office now because no one will know what to do.

The registration form will be made available for you to download later.

In the meantime, post any questions you might have.

In recent years, it’s been pretty obvious that “blogging” (Web + Log = Blog)has simply taken over the internet.

Early blogs were first used by creative (bored?) indivuals, and larger news companies. http://info.cern.ch/ was one of the earliest blogs, followed by NCSA’s “Whats New” and also NetScapes “Whats New” blog. After this point the blogging scene exploded.

What exactly is blogging? Many consider blogging in it’s truest form a type of internet diary. In it’s most pure and basic form its simply a single, scrolling webpages with a few links on the side, and an archive table, and larger, prominent updates in the center of the pages. Users usually post small excerpts about daily life, recent events, or news.

Creative writers often attract groups of people, who will pursue and follow that blog, often posting comments on updates. Some writers write outrageous, offensive things that also attract readers. Some people write about personal experiences, and some just flat out write whatever they want!

RSS, (really simple syndication) also started directly because of blogs. Rather than visit an indivual site over and over again to read the updates and posts, coders started using xml to enable these updates to be available anywhere in the world. In response, RSS has created a whole new chapter in the SEO world, all because of blogging.

Many people have begun to weave affiliate links and even sell there own products through their blogs, relying on their dedicated readerbase to generate huge conversion rates. Programs like WordPress can generate ENTIRE web sites simply by advanced forms of blogging. One of my own sites, www.emoneyreport.com utilizes this program. Instead of bloggin real life experiences, we blog our article updates and program reviews. Very nifty!

Even major search engines are taking part in the blog scene. Most noticably, Google, purchased the site www.blogger.com. Now google controls the largest, most successful blogging site to date! Google indexes and spiders every post created on this site, EVERY day. It’s common practice to create a blog, write small posts and link to your own site through the blog, and doing this you can get spidered and indexed within a day!

We have to ask ourselves, whats next for blogging? Will blogging become the next form of linking? Who knows? All I know for sure is that I like what blogging has become, and that it allows my site to generate income for hundreds of people all over the internet.

http://www.emoneyreport.com NO BS reviews of programs that we have used to make money.

About the author:
http://www.emoneyreport.comNO BS reviews of programs that we have used to make money.

http://www.therealincome.comWe have partnered with several internet gurus to release this book, containing the secrets that most internet gurus DON’T want you to know.

SEO 101… These Tags Really Do Matter.Ron HuttonCopyright 2005 Ron Hutton

In search of the coveted search engine traffic? Yes? Then don’t ignore your meta tags. If anyone tells you that meta tags are not important, they are seriously misinformed. Follow these simple rules and the clicks will come. Skip them and the high search engine rankings that you work so hard for will never deliver on the true traffic potential.

Imagine that you check your incoming email and there are two messages waiting for you. You look at the summary information for each and they appear as follows:

MESSAGE #1:
From: unknownperson@obscuredomain.com
Subject: iaviq qiegaie aeiapih

MESSAGE #2:
From: your-favorite-guru@gurusite.com
Subject: An “insider” shortcut guide to creating sensational ads

If you’re interested in how to write killer ads, which message gets opened and which goes in the trash? It’s obvious I know, but it’s relevant.

Test the search engine results for one of your website pages and here’s what you’ll find…

The search engine results pages (SERPs) for the big 4 search engines (Google, Yahoo, Altavista and MSN) display information to their users by spidering your web pages and grabbing the text from various areas. When someone conducts a search and sees your web page in the results, here’s what you can expect them to see:

GOOGLE:
Your title tag
Your description meta tag

***********

YAHOO!:
Your title tag
Your description meta tag
Text from the upper area of your web page

***********

ALTAVISTA: Your title tag
Your description meta tag
Text from the upper area of your web page

***********

MSN: Your title tag
Text from the upper area of your web page

Do you see the parallel between your web page’s title tag and description meta tag in comparison to the “from” address and subject line in our email analogy above? The copy that you use in these tags becomes your advertisement to the world when your pages are displayed in search results.

Since each of the top 4 search engines display your title tag first, take some time and think through what you want people to see. Offer benefits. Offer a solution. And when you write the copy for your title tag, use your targeted keyword / phrase at the beginning of the title statement. Search engines place a high value on the title tag.

Your description tag (used by Google, Yahoo and Altavista) should serve as your call to action. Write your description in such a way that it compliments the title tag and motivates the searcher to click through to your site for the answers to their specific problem or need. Your targeted keyword phrase should be included once but not at the very beginning of the description.

How important is it that your website name be included in the title tag or description meta tag? You can draw your own conclusions, but in my view it’s not important. The link to your website will show people where they’re going from the SERPs, and after landing on your site the URL in their browser along with your site’s branding will help them remember where they’ve landed.

Don’t shortcut or poo-poo your site’s title tags and description meta tags. When the day comes that you’re ranked number one in your niche (and you will be), make sure that Google, Yahoo, Altavista and MSN display the information that will motivate searchers to click though to your site instead of the site listed just below you. It’s your traffic. You earned it.

I recommended that you get a Blog and link back and forth to your website. Combining a blog and a website is an effective way of generating traffic.

What is a Blog? A Blog, or a Web Log, is an online diary where you can post your thoughts and keep it as a private journal or you can place it where your readers can get together and place entries. When blog first came, it was adopted by teenagers and later by adults to write about their daily lives. Then writers and journalist entered the blog world writing about books and investigative reports. But, there’s a few people invented “Business Blog”.

Suddenly blogs started appearing on business websites all over the Internet after people discover search engine like Google and Yahoo were displaying blogs. The impact was huge. As a result, people starting creating blogs hopping to get more prospective customers to visit their websites.

1. User Friendly

Blogs are easy to update and are automatically formatted as you upload them. The easiest way to get started is to create a free account in http://www.blogger.com. Blogger is part of Google and it offer dozens of templates which you can customize by changing layouts and colors. It allows you to publish your blog without the need to know about HTML or FrontPage and FTP etc… All you need to do is write your own content.

2. Create Discussions & Write Honest Reviews

Having your own business blog allows you to create discussion about the program or products that you are selling and list any updates to your regular website. You need to know your products and preferable use it yourself so that you can write honest review about it. What better way to promote a product and get people to believe it’s great than to say you use it too? In other words, it enables you to interact with your prospects. Blogs have a comment function which allows your customers and prospects to post their thoughts and opinions. As a result, your potential customers will have more trust and confidence in your products or services.

3. Increase Search Engine Ranking

Search engines love blogs because they are frequently updated with fresh new content. Compared to new sites, active blogs are indexed quicker by many search engines. After the blog is indexed, the pages you have linked to the blog will also get indexed. The more frequently you update your site, the more frequently your blog will get indexed, and this helps to boost your search engine rankings. If you make regular postings to your blog, you can be sure the search engine will visit your blog again and again.

4. RSS Feed

Most blogging service providers have RSS (Real Simple Syndication) built-in. Readers can even subscribe to RSS which notifies them your new posting in your blog. This allow others to publish your feed on their sites and gain more free exposure and traffic to your site.

You have created a blog and your blog is dedicated to a niche industry. Have you ever thought that the blog could make money for you? We would look here in this article, ways and means, to make money blogging. Lets first have a look at what are the prerequisites for a blog needed to make money:

1. Blog needs to be dedicated to a niche market.
2. Updated regularly.
3. Enough back links (Don’t worry for it. Directory submission would be enough to begin with)
4. Good blog host or application (blogger, Xanga or typepad recommended), and
5. High quality articles or news items supported with images.

Get the above criteria in place and Hurrah… You are ready to Make Money Blogging.

Top 5 Ways to Make Money Blogging

Lets now take a look at top 5 ways using which you could make money blogging:

1. Google Adsense
Google Adsense delivers text and image ads to the authorized websites/blogs depending on the content of the website. Small code is required to be pasted at proper locations on a webpage and Google automatically recognizes the page. Google shares the revenue it gets from the advertisers whenever a visitor clicks on these ads.

Google bills advertisers on price per click basis (PPC). Advertisers are required to pay only when any visitor clicks on their ads. They bid against each other for the keywords in order to receive better placement and thus prices for each keyword differ from one another. It is better to choose keywords for your blog which pays high $ per click.

2. Amazon
Amazon Associate program is another important way to make money blogging. The Amazon Associate program gives opportunity to website/blog publishers to promote any product from its inventory by adding a predefined code to their website/blog, which, when clicked by a visitor, takes them to the relevant product page. Once the visitor buys the product, the blog owner will be compensated with a commission.

3. Blogads
You can use Blogads as an effective tool to have a better control over the advertisers in your blogs. You can analyze and compare your profits with any one of your online agencies. Blogads can be simply specified as an advertising service used for the web logs or blogs. From the total money generated by Blogads, it retains 20% of it and the remaining money is paid to you through PayPal or checks.

Alternative Services:

Crispads is another useful network focused on the blogs. You can put your advertisements in their blogs using Crispads. You can move through their RSS/ATOM feeds that help in generating revenues.
Tagword It is similar to Blogads. It makes you select the ads and their price.

Users can place their text-based ads in the site within minutes and the ads will be displayed instantly on the website.

4. Affiliate Programs
Your affiliate programs can help you earn a lot of money for selected products and services. Lot of websites offers you to become affiliate members. These affiliate programs can provide a better reach and an in-depth exposure to the products. The commissions for the sales differ according to the quality of the product, sales and marketing strategy involved. You can gather information related to the commissions by looking into the catalogues of Link Share and Commission junctions.

5. Text Links
Text links has emerged out to be the best form of moneymaking source that you can use instead of cluttering or crowding the page with ads. You dont have to make these text links prominent within your website. This link can act as an extra value to your site and will also help to promote the rankings of other sites. In most of the cases you will find these text links placed in the bottom of the web pages. The best part of this strategy is that the publishers send and accept links as the market continues to grow.

C. SchillerThere is a right way and a wrong way to do things…
By Trina L.C. Schiller

Email marketing once proved to be immensely effective, but the greedy and idiotic polluted the well by spamming the planet with everything from weight-loss products to sexual enhancement drugs and beyond. Because of the stench, filters and laws have been created to attempt to fix the problem, but still the Internet is polluted with more and more junk each day. So obviously, filters and legislation are not the solution, for consumers, publishers, or marketers.

Everyone has been left scratching their heads and asking… What do I do to avoid this crap and make the Internet mine again? How do I build my business and promote it without having to deal with email? After all, what’s the point in spending money on email advertising campaigns when there is no guarantee that the emails will even reach their destination?

Enter… RSS.
RSS is the perfect communication tool. It’s applications far outreach those of email for marketing, publishing and personal communications. RSS is the answer to our communication woes.

Using RSS to create blogs for communicating with customers, affiliates, partners and family is far and away more effective and reliable than email ever was. As a marketing tool, it really packs a punch that email never could. The reason being is that blogs are targets for search engine spiders. They are themselves, a web presence, whereas email never was and never will be.

Just like a web page, search engine spiders hit blog pages and rank them. The difference between the static web page and the RSS feed is that web pages seldom update their content, RSS feeds, by design, are created to be dynamic and provide regularly updated content, in theory, depending on the blog owner of course. This prompts the search engine spiders to revisit and rerank them more often.

For writers, publishers and and anyone else with something to say, RSS has been a godsend. It has provided the answer to the question of what to do now. Blogging has replaced email for those who have become frustrated with dealing with the problems of email publishing and marketing. Publishers can now get their message out to their subscribers without the headaches associated with sending email, or posting static pages to the web. Even publishing an ezine to the Internet as a web page required the sending of email to make readers aware of the newest issue.

As with anything, there is a right way and a wrong way to do things, and blog publishing is no exception. Now that RSS has become the rage for marketing purposes, several people have taken it upon themselves, in the name of the almighty dollar, to pollute this well too. The newest rash of ‘RSS tools’ have created some issues of ethics and and credibility. With perhaps the honest intention of being search engine optimization tools, or an automated system for fetching content, this batch of stuff has too much potential for misuse. The result of misuse of these types of programs can be devastating. Already some of these programs have been banned from places like Google and Blogharbour because of this potential.

Programs such as these in the hands of the inexperienced, will cause future problems for bloggers down the road. More and more pages generated using these programs will be banned, and getting banned, right out of the gate, for a newbie, would be a sad thing indeed.

The right way to use blogging to increase your search engine presence is to publish good content. Period. Provide useful information to those who are looking for it. Become someone’s trusted information provider, and you have a customer for life. Publish keyword rich articles that give the searcher what they are looking for… solutions for problems.

Publish your information regularly. Weekly is good, daily is better. Sending pings and things too often will get you blacklisted too.

And here is where networking comes in… Find content for your blog from article banks, where authors submit their work for reprint. List yourself in databases as one who accepts article submissions. Get to know other authors and publishers and share content with them. Syndicate your blogs in exchange with other bloggers. Watch your world explode with new opportunities.

Automation in business is a good thing, but it has its place. Nothing beats human communication when dealing with people and creating partnerships. Do you want to talk to an autoresponder? No, and I doubt anyone else does either.

Some of the new programs designed for the automation of article collection have legal issues to consider. The biggest being copyright infringement. Not every author wants their work reprinted, or they require control over where their work is displayed. (Which is as it should be.) Without manually seeking your content, you could very well find yourself being served papers for publishing someone else’s work without permission.

Plagiarism is another issue. If you don’t follow certain rules for reprinting contributory work, you stand to be hounded for plagiarism. Yet another sticky issue.

Some of the new programs mock safelists, or resemble FFA sites. Before long, those types of blog pages will become banned as well. Search engines will figure out a way to block non-informational blog pages, those that carry nothing but links or classifieds. (Is your head sore from hitting that brick wall yet?)

Still, there are other programs designed to post spam to blogs using the comments feature. This is referred to as comment spam. The only solution thus far, to battle comment spam, is to disallow your readers the option of leaving comments. This is a bad thing, because allowing your readers to interact with you is supposed to be one of the benefits of using this form of communication.

The makers of these programs may have had good intentions to start with, but have ultimately created Frankenstein’s Monster. Many are stating that their programs are not spam, because they do not involve email. That is a cop out if I ever heard one. Spam is the transmission of unwanted stuff, whether it is sent to your inbox, or your blog, or even the search engines themselves. Search engines want relevant content, not pages of of keywords, or links. So feeding them page after page of nonsense is spam.

Everyone hates spam, except the spammers, so why be a part of something loathed by so many and embraced by a few? Bad business if you ask me.

The only real way to combat these issues is to simply not use the programs themselves. Do your due diligence and create a reputation as a trusted information provider, not a blog bomber, and your business will prosper. Using these programs will ultimately diminish your reputation and your livelihood.

Your customers are looking for information, a solution to a problem. Give that to them, not just endless pages of links. You will achieve your rightful spot in the ranks, and you stand a far better chance for longevity. There are good RSS tools available, you just need to look beneath the sales copy to find them. And if you are new to RSS and blogging, do some research. Find someone who knows, really knows what RSS is and how to use it, and ask some questions. Don’t go out and spend buckets of money on something you’re not sure how to use, because you could be doing yourself more harm than good.

If You Build It, They Will Come…Adrian Kennelly …No they won’t. On the web, building a web site is not enough. If there are no links to the site anywhere, no-one is going to visit it. The site won’t even be listed in any of the search engines without some incoming links. To get traffic, you will need to do some promotion.

Web Directories
The basic part of any promotion campaign, web directories, whist they may not generate much in the way of traffic, will help in your site’s search engine ranking. A good list of free, non-reciprocal, search engine friendly directories can be found at http://info.vilesilencer.com.

Pay Per Click Advertising
This is advertising such as PPC Search Engines, like Yahoo!’s Overture, and contextual advertising, like Google’s AdWords. Be warned, it is very easy to go through a substantial amount of money for no reward using these services if you are not careful. AdWords (amongst others) lets you pick a maximum budget a day, but, although $5 may not sound like much, $5/day is $150+ per month. Better make sure your keywords are correctly identified, and, in preference, not highly competed on, and that your sales copy is good enough before doing this.

Quality Traffic, not Just Traffic
It’s what everyone is after, more traffic to their website. Traffic is easy to obtain, though. Autosurfers, manual hit exchanges and purchased traffic will all send visitors to your website. However, this traffic is just visitors, many of whom will just burn up your bandwidth for no reward. Unless you are receiving decent money for pay per impression advertising, such as banners and popups, this traffic can be totally valueless.

Repeat Traffic
Unless you only require visitors to visit your site once, because you are selling a one-off product, and your sales copy is fantastic enough that they are hooked to buy on the first visit (and if you are regulary doing this, write an ebook explaining how and sell it), you will want visitors to return. If there is nothing of value at your site, visitors may come once, but they won’t come back of their own accord. Typically, it is estimated that a prospective customer will be exposed seven times to a product etc. before buying.

Reciprocal Linking
Whilst somewhat frowned upon, and generally thought to not be as valuable as one-way linking (see below) for search engine optimization, a relevant reciprocal linking campaign can be an important traffic generating tool. swap links with sites in a related, but non-competing, business to your own. It isn’t really a good idea to link to competitors; although visitors will be interested in your product, there is a good chance you will lose them to your competitor, especially if their website or product is better or looks better than your own. Not a desirable outcome. For example, a web hosting site could link to a site that sells scripts and programs; visitors to one will more than likely use the other, but the sites are not in direct competition. You can also swap links with web directories that require a reciprocal link.

One-Way Linking
Considered the best form of link for SEO purposes, this can also be a good source of traffic. There are a number of ways of getting one-way links. The easiest is submission to free web directories (see above). Another good source is by writing articles relevant to your site or industry, putting a resource box at the bottom, then posting the article on the directories such as GoArticles, or by sumbitting to the ezines. Webmasters and ezine publishers are always in need of fresh content, and will publish your article for free. The hardest way of getting one-way inbound links is by having websites voluntarily link to you. The only way to do this is by providing a valuable tool, service or resource that other webmasters will want to direct their visitors to

FrankBlogs have been around for many years but have recently become somewhat a new craze. A Blog is short for Web Log is basically an online journal. They can be set up at little to no cost at all, and can be used for a wide variety of things. Some bloggers just blog for the fun of it, while others tend to use their blogs for business reasons.

The following are just a few ways blogs can be used:

1) Updates
Keep customers/clients up to date on changes to your website. Also new product announcement and new related websites.

2) Reviews
You can give opinions, advice and personal recommendations on specific products or services related to your field.

3) Personal and Business uses
Blogs are a great way to keep track of your goals and plans just by open writing.

4) Stress Reliever
Jot down your vents, gripes, thoughts. Some also find general writing therapeutic.

5) Search Engine Optimization
Search Engines love text and content. You can also include links to your website which equal backward links which in turn equals high ranking.

6) Money Makers
Yes, you can make money with your blog by providing readers with quality copy writing and a few affiliate links.

So how is a blog set up? There are several options you can choose from when starting your own blog, and a few are:

1) Using a free service such as http://www.Blogger.com.

2) Using Blogger.com (or other free blog provider) with your own domain name that you can purchase through places such as Mommys Helper Domain & Hosting Services http://www.mommyshelperonline.com/web-hosting.html .

3) You can also choose a paid services such as http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Affil/?51483 for as little as $5.95 a month.

So you have your blog set up, but how do you get visitors to it and get them comming back? Along with general advertising, here are a few more ideas:

1) Directories
There are many directories that you can submit your blog to such as http://www.BlogWise.com To find more simply do a search for blog directories.

2) Link Exchange
Place links on your website to your blog and visa versa.

3) Syndicate Your Blog
For example you can now give your visitors the option of having your blog headlines right on their MyYahoo! Page. (example – http://add.my.yahoo.com/rss?url=http%3A//www.2wahms.blogspot.com ) This makes it much simpler for your readers to quickly skim the topic headlines and an added benefit to you the blogger to keep your visitors up to date.

You also have the choice of letting your readers comments on your blog. Most services have these features and can be a great tool to keep your blog interactive between you and your readers.

With all the spam filters and spam blockers available or sometimes even automatically installed in email programs, its getting harder every day to keep in constant contact with your visitors/customers and/or clients. Blogs have shed some new light in this aspect giving you a better way to communicate.

Most blog services are very user friendly. If you can run simple programs such as MSWord or Word Perfect then you have the knowledge to maintain your own blog. Theres no need to even have html knowledge. In essence, anyone can have his or her own blog.

Happy Blogging!

Web logs, channel ezines, what’s the difference?

Web logs, or blogs, are a communication medium, gaining in popularity, through which RSS [Really Simple Sydication] technology has been introduced to the populous. However, blogs and RSS are not synonomous. RSS technology is what gives life to the blog. and, has been around for awhile. Blogging is a relatively new use for the system.
RSS has been used by the media for quite some time, to bring Internet travelers the news, stock updates, and such. But blogging has brought it into the mainstream, making it a bit more user friendly for the average traveler.

Put simply, a web log is a interactive, virtual diary, that can be read by anyone, and commented on, by its readers, as well. The technology, driving the blog, is capable of so much more.

Publishing an ezine through a channel feed is another use that is picking up steam. Seeing the benefits of channel publishing, more and more ezine publishers are either supplementing or replacing their email systems of distribution.

Since channel subscription is not subscriber bot friendly, and requires that one physically subscribe to the channel of choice, without email reliance, it is the only true 100% opt-in method for receiving information. Subscription forgeries cannot occur. Opting out is as simple as deleting the channel from your computer. It is instant and non-publisher dependent.

Channel publishing also makes permanent, what used to end up in the trash. Even ezines that manage to make through the filters and into the inboxes of readers, eventually wind up at the virtual curb, when it has been read. Not so with channel publishing. Articles published on a channel are given an item number and become a permanent archive of the channel. This allows the reader to refer back to it, should the need arise, at any time, without having to store the piece on their hard drive.

Another plus to itemization and archiving, is that these articles, being rich in content, are easliy spidered by search engines. This feature offers the publisher to gain new subscribers based on keyword searches made by John Q. Basically, people who have never heard of my own zine, can find out about it, just by searching for a term contained within one of the articles I’ve published, and Hello… New Subscriber!

Best of all, ezine publishing via RSS channels, allows the publisher a simple method of syndicating their publication on any web site wanting to add content. This is free exposure to the nth degree! We’re not talking about adding a link to someone elses web site, we’re talking about running a list of recent headlines, that redirect to its point of origin. Consider what syndication meant for Ann Landers and Dear Abby, in print. Syndication is what has kept Star Trek alive and well, through four decades.

Lastly, where email gets information lost among the spam in the reader’s inbox, channel publishing puts you right on their desktop, where you can’t be missed or accidentally deleted. You’ll never trip another autoresponder again either.

Web logs exist because of RSS, but the technology itself is so much more than that. It is the foundation upon which limitless applications may be based. Ezine channel publishing is but another extension; there are still more to come.

Bloging (the act of writing to a blog) has become one of the fastest growing trends this year and many internet gurus believe that this is the new biggest trend. Well, you might ask yourself what is the big deal I don’t even know what a blog is?

To put it simply a blog is a big deal because it can mean a lot of money for you. First, lets define what a blog is then I will get to the good stuff the money and riches! Blog is short for web log, it is just the two words pushed together. You can kind of think of it like a Captains log on a ship, or a diary. It is a quick and easy way to add content to the web with out having to use html. It is instant, quick and really easy.

Now you might ask yourself why would I want to keep my diary online? It basically is a great way to make money. Let me explain that in a little more detail. For most search engines there are two major factors in how well you rank, first is the content of your site and second are the links to your site. Meaning the more key word focused content and the more links you have the higher you will rank in the search engine. We all know it does not pay to be listed number 1 million out of 5 million for a keyword. So everyone is competing for the top 10 spots. Well, the quickest and easiest way to rank above the others is to add tons of key word focused helpful content to your site. The more value you add to the internet the more value you will get out of it. So you can help yourself by helping others and providing knowledge for free in the form of content. A blog creates a very easy way to publish this content because it will publish your content tot he web as soon as you are done typing and best of all there are no html skills required. In fact you can blog for free which I will talk about in article 2. Secondly a blog is a great way to use some basic linking strategies that will help get your site into the search engines. So by setting up a blog you can quickly publish high quality key word focused content and you can include tons of great links to your site.

So let me quickly recap for you why you want to blog. A blog provides a quick, often free way to publish your content on the web and an easy way to link to your website for more traffic. These are important for any webmaster that wants to make money because it all converts to more traffic to your website and more traffic means more people purchasing your product.

So now that you know what a blog is and why blogging is such a great thing you probably want to know how to get started blogging right now! That will be covered in Blogging For Profit The series #2.
