<p>It&#8217;s Rosalind Gardner of <a href="http://imsupporthub.com/superaffiliate"><strong>Superaffiliate Handbook</strong></a> fame! Amazing as it was, I met her and spoke with her about getting together with a cup of coffee. She had actually just planned a trip to Singapore, and I was way too busy to do anything other than meet for that cup of coffee. So, we headed to the Esplanade and had a pretty nice get-to-know. I&#8217;m actually looking forward to having her as a teleseminar speaker with our community very soon. Well, if you want to meet her, you&#8217;d have to go and hunt her down somewhere in the jungles of Borneo now&#8230;</p>
<p>Ros and I shared some of the things we did, and there was a definite agreement that too many people run too many big events and confuse newbies. She had run a teleseminar series with Anik Singal on <strong>blogging</strong> and it apparently went very well. For someone who is really getting huge troves of traffic to her website, it&#8217;s a wonder her book is only selling at $47. Most experts agree it&#8217;s way underpriced.</p>
<p>I even read the book 8 times (the last one was after I just met her, and some of the ideas still blow me away). Core lesson is: stick to the basics and keep doing it. Rosalind was definitely a huge surprise to me &#8211; unassuming, really nice person with a fantastic sense of humor. If you ever get a chance to meet her, you&#8217;ll definitely love her to death.</p>
<p>I have NO QUALMS recommending you to read her newsletter &#8211; <a href="http://www.netprofitstoday.com/">www.NetProfitsToday.com</a>. In the meantime, grab a copy of her <a href="http://imsupporthub.com/superaffiliate">Super Affiliate Handbook</a>. It&#8217;s really worth the read, and especially so if you don&#8217;t have female internet marketing role models to look up to these days. I&#8217;ve been recommending this book for EONS and all I can say is that this should be made as compulsory to internet marketers as the alphabet is to the English language.</p>

<p>Do bear in mind the power of gender bias in your copywriting and your positioning. It&#8217;s extremely important for you to be persuasive to the right group of people using the right approach.</p>

If you&#8217;ve been paying attention to one of my previous posts, you&#8217;d be really hanging on the edge. <a href="http://internetmarketingsingapore.com/blog/2006/06/03/marketing-to-women/"><strong>Marketing to women</strong></a>Ã‚Â is going to be one of the biggest trends in the world. And if you are intelligent enough, you will definitely find that women are buying more on the internet now so more than ever.</p>
<p>I hate to say this, but when marketing happens on sales copy, it attracts a whole lot of men. Jo Han, for instance, writes sales copy that really is Alpha Male. Look at <a href="http://www.copywritingempire.com/study/">http://www.copywritingempire.com/study/</a>. The sales copy there uses words that are extremely strong, and characteristic of Jo Han&#8217;s sales copy. Consider looking at <a href="http://www.ezinequeen.com/tutorial/index.htm">http://www.ezinequeen.com/tutorial/index.htm</a>. While I don&#8217;t know Alexandria Brown, I do know where the influence comes from and I also know that her copy is a lot more women biased.</p>
<p>For more sample sales copy, look at <a href="http://www.affiliatetrafficmachine.com/">http://www.AffiliateTrafficMachine.com/</a>Ã‚Â (male gender bias) and now, look at <a href="http://www.teleseminarsecrets.com/">http://www.TeleseminarSecrets.com</a>Ã‚Â (gender-balanced). Can you tell the difference?</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s an attempt a guy has made to appeal to women.Ã‚Â I&#8217;m not so sure it&#8217;s successful because of the women who buy this product, or because of the men who buy this product. What do <u>you</u> think?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve made several discoveries recently about the different language used by women compared with men. The study will be made available via a report that I&#8217;ll be completing within the next couple of weeks. After poring through a whole load of writings, I&#8217;ve found core differences between male marketing messages and female marketing messages. I&#8217;ve thought at first that <strong>gender balanced sales copies</strong> actually might be responsible for pulling more sales conversions. On the other hand, <strong>gender imbalanced sales copies</strong> actually end up leaving lots of money on the table.</p>
<p>However, after some consideration, I thought that while that might be generally true, there are some points to really iron out &#8211; there is the Details-Oriented sales copy compared with the Intuitive-Oriented copy. I&#8217;ll give some examples in the report that I&#8217;ll release when my time actually frees up&#8230; (never&#8230;?).</p>
