Affiliate Marketer’s Daily Routines Part #1

There are several things you need to do on a daily basis in order to create success in your online business. After speaking with several internet marketers, I’ve discovered that they have a routine… and it’s not just hit and miss!

You will have to do your job when it comes to generating traffic everyday. But other than that, it also is a concerted effort to create relevant content that fits in well with your affiliate offers. I find that when I have trouble, it’s because I break my own rules.

If you follow this, you’d probably be better set up for affiliate marketing. Use a checklist like this one:

1. Identify your niche. If you need keyword reseearch to be done, you should get someone with professional experience. Don’t just dump keywords into your PPC advertising campaign: make sure that you have properly categorized keywords. Keywords are valuable, but don’t just get the keywords. Make sure you have statistics surrounding the keywords you selected. Understand the nature of your keywords, and you might find that your keywords can generate for you a lot more traffic than you expect. You need to get statistics like:

  • how competitive it will be from the PPC approach
  • how competitive it will be from the SEO approach
  • whether it will be easy for you to get traffic from these keyword sources

remember that it’s really about your keywords and how those keywords work for you. In fact, don’t just use 20 or 30 keywords. The more keywords you bid on, the more likely you can get targeted traffic. Prepare 300 keywords at the minimum, and 5000 or so if you really know how to. If you need keyword sets with the statistics, you’ll need to either get and use software or find a professional PPC person to do it for you. Whatever the case, check your keywords daily and their performance, then keep on improving their performance. Take out non-performing keywords and optimize your site and ads again.
