I was intruiged by the fact that there are more and more people getting into MyBlogLog.com. It’s a great site, and the features are great. The foundational principle of people being able to use MyBlogLog.com is that they have to have some kind of trust element. People trust you enough to visit your website. It’s a social site. You have a great time making friends, etc.
Unfortunately, there are three types of characters in this online world that spoil the market badly for you.

It’s a little too late now that I’ve gotten the hang of the hype in affiliate marketing, and I mean “hang” in several different ways.
You might be new to internet marketing, or you might be reading this precisely because internet marketing is your cup of tea. So, I thought I’d just shamelessly highlight all the strategies that people have used over time to make money online with affiliate marketing.
Method 1 – Direct from Advertising to Affiliate links
You run an advertising campaign and get people to actually click on the ad links to your affiliate link, thereby driving traffic direct to your affiliate landing pages.

I wrote about routines in my previous post.
Today’s idea is about seeking out incoming links for the purposes of SEO. I think many people who are doing affiliate marketing will miss this out solely because the SEO approach doesn’t always appeal to them, and therefore are happier doing PPC advertising.
While I don’t deny that SEO is tedious and often boring, it doesn’t always have to be that way. There are examples of how SEO can be easy, and link building leveraged.
One way is to hire someone full time to do your SEO. This will include link building, article submissions, link exchange programs and the like.

I have just upgraded to Wordpress 2.1.2!!! Had a slight problem, and it took me 30 minutes (what a waste of time) to sift through the support forums. I realized that the visual editor was facing problems, and there were script errors to no end.
After a while of searching, I found this post, and what I did was I simply unchecked the Visual Editor mode. Now I can type, but let’s hope this post gets through!

In 2006, several thousand internet marketers came into the affiliate marketing scene and made a killing. It was hundreds of millions of dollars worth of sales. They sold eBooks, home study courses, coaching programs… everything in the information product world ranging from copywriting to Google Adwords courses, search engine optimization to affiliate marketing and traffic generation strategies (and who can forget list building).
It was a crazy year. A year on, let’s look at the hundreds of millions of dollars spent, in relation to the money made. Was it justifiable? Were there more scams than normal? Were the profits real?

I think today I’ll focus more on personal productivity. It’s really the mainstay of any internet marketer’s success, and more importantly, without the right level of productivity, it will lead you to feel that you’re wasting your time.
Take for example, one of my coaching clients who had been changing plans from day one. It was frustrating, but at the same time obviously time-wasting to both of us. I can go on changing plans every time I meet, but that’s not what a business is about.

Ha… since we’re all into web 2.0, I decided to do up this new look and feel – especially since I found it during one of my coaching sessions. It was quite a treat, indeed.
Finally – I don’t have to squint reading my OWN posts!

In light of the article I wrote in Part #2, what was important was the content. But, you also need to consider daily reading as part of your routine.
I know most internet marketers read a lot, but don’t have much skill in terms of gathering bulk content when reading. I also know internet marketers who hate reading. I usually digest reading material very fast, and it’s important to do reading across multiple journals, ezines and articles in order to get an idea.

In my previous post on daily routines, I talked about one daily routine being niche identification. I know this to be important, because your niche and extending on the keywords within your niche are essential traffic routines for your business.
Some people mistake this to be the be all and end all, which of course, would be stupid to assume. But ignorant marketers will ignore this. A good process or system would be optimization. Building your content, enhancing your site, optimizing for good keywords that bring traffic are all part and parcel of the traffic process. But don’t be mistaken – one doesn’t make money simply identifying keywords even though you need to make sure that the lifeblood – traffic – is flowing. It’s like even though you drink enough water doesn’t mean you won’t get sick.

The power of voice-to-text technology has surged to such high levels of accuracy over the last few years that it is much easier now than ever to create content with the power of your voice.
If you can speak and have a relatively clear speaking voice, you can use voice-to-text software such as IBM Viavoice and Dragon Naturally Speaking. Both these software allow input from a microphone and converts your audio content into text in real time. So all you need to do is to speak, and the machine will pick it up easily.
