What Is The Procedure For Accepting Payments Online?

#1 – Paypal, Clickbank, 2Checkout are principle
methods of collecting payment.

#2 – you can have your own merchant account, that costs up to $1000 to set up
plus transaction costs of up to 5.5% per transaction.

Either way, you need a means to collect online payment. If you are overseas,
check that your merchant account can accept overseas credit card payments. If
not, you can use 3rd party processors like Paypal (like online banking, but
there are wire transfer costs – check paypal.com), 2Checkout direct wire
transfer (widely accepted, but only one of your domains per account, no
affiliate management capabilities) or Clickbank check payment (not accepted in
some countries, you need to have a digital product to sell first, allows for
affiliate selling).

How to be an affiliate marketer without owning a website?

You can’t. You must have a website/blog/any online media
in order for affiliate marketing to work. You can “try” email only, but that is
insufficient.

Do you need to learn how to use frontpage first before you can set up your own webpage

Yes, you need to learn it before you do up a
webpage. The alternative is to use Wordpress blogs, which is a blog content
management system that does not require you to do much HTML.

However to learn it well, you also need to learn some basic HTML codes to be
able to do minor tweaks yourself on the templates (especially for
modifications).

Sorry — but I can’t deal with thousands of spam comments anymore. So, only registered users are able to comment. To do this, (1) go to www.internetmarketingsingapore.com/blog/wp-login.php and get the registration info. (2) once you have logged in, click “view site” and you should be able to add comments.

I know… short term solution for now. :)

Scam Alert: DO NOT BUY

Scam?

This is a warning to all you people who are visiting my site. I haven’t had time to check my Adsense account to block him off, so please be warned about this bozo (yes, it is the same guy, advertising TWO sites). All research point out to these ads being a scam.

Whatever the case, you CAN check it out, but please make sure you DO NOT BUY IT. The only person I know in Singapore who has made $1.5 million is Ewen Chia, and trust me, the inner circle in Singapore is tight enough for us to know who did what. It will be amazing that a million dollar launch went under our noses.

Beginner Mistake #3 – Lack Of Beginner Resources

Seems like everyone wants to become a programmer these days. Isn’t it amazing that the biggest mistake you can ever make is to figure out all the different codes in HTML but still not make a single cent?

Is this the truth? Well, I want you to follow the logic here. If you want to learn to use HTML, it will probably set you back anything between 2 weeks (if you’re really that good) to 3 months (that’s what happened for me). Waste of time? You decide!

In the end I opted to use a simple content management system: a blog.

Beginner Mistake #2 – Choice Overload & Paralysis

I want to continue to educate and this post really is a follow up from the earlier important email I sent to my subscribers.

I’m actually in KL right now, and one of the things I have discovered is that people are overloaded with a serious problem: choices. What’s worse, is that because there are too many choices (ebooks, software, courses) they can’t make up their mind. Are you in their shoes? Do you receive countless, endless emails about some kind of offer or other that you don’t understand?

“Credibility” Podcast

I thought I could do a quick recording and lo-and behold, I had forgotten to bring out my super-mic. So, I had to make do with an MP3 recorder, which produced fuzzy audio. Well… I learnt my lesson. Here is my podcast:

Scamdentifiers: Adam Wong + Stuart Tan

I thought you ought to know about this:

http://www.adam-wong.com/73/easy-rich

Aside from the fact that it is really a fun read, I did a little digging myself too.

There isn’t a guy called Nicholas. There is a guy called Frank Seet who is likely in Australia, but he has conveniently hidden his Admin address.
